Clementine

Hi,

Cobelfrets Clementine is now operating from Oostende on their Oostende - Dartford and Oostende - Killingholm route. This ship is one of the biggest ever to operate from Oostende.
Despite the calm weather today, she still needed a tug to make the 180° turn to dock.

When I got there, Eurovoyager was moving to her berth for loading. I must say she looks rather dirty, something not very TEF-ish since their ships normally look very tidy.

Then Clementine came from behind the pier:

Sunset

Hi,

I just grabbed these pictures yesterday evening at sunset:

A big rain cloud over Wenduine.

Looking towards Oostende.

The sea with a long shutter.

Again looking at Oostende.

This is the same one but edited a bit in Photoshop Elements.

Zeebrugge 08 / 09 /2008

Hi,

today's main visitor in Zeebrugge was P&O Cruises' Arcadia, which was on the way back from a Baltic and Scandinavian cruise.  She was scheduled to leave at 6 p.m. but before she could leave, the Pierre Vandamme Sluis had to be empied. The Caribbean Mermaid was the last to leave when I arrived.

After the departure of the Caribbean Mermaid, Arcadia could loosen up her lines and set off towards Southampton.

Departure was a bit different than usual because the Norcape was arriving in the port and she had to pass behind the Arcadia.

The two P&O ships passing each other.
